We, the members of the Next Generation Government (NGG), united by a shared commitment to justice, dignity, and equality, recognise that the struggle for true freedom was not completed but handed over unfinished.

The political, economic, and social liberation of the people of South Africa remains incomplete. We therefore commit ourselves to building a youth-led, inclusive, ethical, and accountable political organisation that serves all people of South Africa — especially those left out by a system designed to keep young people so occupied with surviving the present that they do not think about their future.
